The next season of Fortnite will begin on May 24, 2024, according to the latest information.
The current season, which is called "Myths & Mortals", features characters and themes from Greek mythology, such as Zeus, Hades, Aphrodite, and Poseidon. They join the battle royale game as new skins, weapons, and items. The season will last for 11 weeks, or 77 days in total, which is shorter than the previous one.
The previous season, which started in December 2023 and ended in March 2024, lasted for almost 100 days. However, that was an exception because of the holiday break that Epic Games took. The normal duration of a Fortnite season is around 10 to 12 weeks.
Therefore, players can expect the current season to end in the early hours of May 24 and the next season to start later that day after some maintenance time. Of course, this schedule could change depending on Epic Games' plans and updates. But for now, this is the official date for the start of Chapter 5 Season 3 of Fortnite.
